Welcome to the Lancashire Group of the Motor Caravanners’ Club
A very friendly group. If you are apprehensive about going to your first rally, don’t be – you are assured of a very friendly welcome.
We meet once a fortnight on average at rallies throughout our area. What is a rally? Well first and foremost it’s a social gathering of friends where we do our best to make everyone feel they are welcome and part of our ‘family’; secondly it’s a place where you can get help and advice about most aspects of motor caravanning.
The rallies are informal affairs, held at farms, cricket and rugby clubs, village halls etc., and are not usually bookable – you just turn up and the hosts will welcome you and book you in. Just let them know that it is your first rally and they will explain things in more detail.
At some of our venues we are able to take our own drinks but where ‘Bar drinks’ is shown then only drinks purchased over the bar can be consumed in the hall.
What does it cost? Our price is only £8 per van for two adults and children a night at normal rallies.
A typical weekend will include Bingo (only 3 games) on a Friday night together with music, Saturday night with music and dancing, a quiz and ‘Take your pick’, finishing on Sunday with a coffee morning –bring your own mugs – chairman’s chat and raffle draw.
